The Board Decision Framework
The DIRECT Method for Traceable, Defensible and Deliverable Board Decisions. A practical, six step method for making and defending high stakes decisions under pressure.
AI governance specialist, author and speaker
Bridget Convey helps boards and senior leaders adopt artificial intelligence safely. She brings thirty years of experience in UK financial services, including senior, executive committee and boardroom roles, across banking, insurance and asset management.

I built this website for a simple reason: a CV has never been the whole story.
The work comes first. For thirty years I have worked in UK financial services, and today I help boards and senior leaders adopt AI safely and with confidence.
But I have never believed that a serious career and a full life belong in separate boxes. I have hosted events for 17 years, I love bringing interesting people together, and I give a board paper and a party the same energy. The curiosity about people that drives one is exactly what drives the other.
Hiring, meanwhile, has changed. Automated screening now reads a CV before any person does, and a whole career can be reduced to a handful of keywords. As someone who works in AI, I find that both fascinating and a little ironic.
So here is the whole picture in one place: my career and skills, my books, white papers and videos, and my life outside work. It is also where friends and colleagues, near and far, can keep up with what I am doing.
Have a look around and make up your own mind. If something here interests you, I would be glad to hear from you.
